Jefferson County is unique to other parts of Oregon.  It's beautiful "high-desert" atmosphere and quiet small towns bring a sense of calmness when needing to get away from it all.  With the majestic peaks of Mt. Jefferson and the miles of lakes and rivers to be explored, it's easy to see why Jefferson County has grown into a popular tourist spot.
